The Marylebone Theatre is proud to champion the modern art of movement, known as eurythmy. Conceived and developed by the visionary philosopher Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925), eurythmy attempts to depict the hidden, inner gestures of speech and music. Performed either to musical or spoken accompaniment, it is a fluid, exceptionally graceful form of movement, which prefigures many of the discoveries of contemporary dance. Eurythmy will feature strongly in our programme as well as being incorporated into our in-house theatre productions.
